Terms of Service

Broke Da Cart collects the weekly circular deals that O'ahu grocery stores publish and shows them side by side, so you can plan a shopping trip and build a list. We are an independent service. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any store, and store names and logos belong to their owners.

Deals come from the stores' published circulars and are collected and organized partly by automated tools, so mistakes happen. Prices, sizes, availability and sale dates can be wrong, can change, or can differ by store location. Items can sell out.

Always confirm the price in store. Savings figures compare a circular price with a listed regular price and are estimates; they are not a guarantee of what you'll pay or save. The store's price is the price that counts. If you see something wrong, please use “Report a problem” on the item.

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• Give us a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
• Tell us at hello@brokedacart.com if you think someone else has used your account, or if you want it closed.

Please don't:

• copy or scrape the site at scale, or resell its data, without our written permission;
• try to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the site or other people's accounts;
• submit false, abusive or spam price reports;
• use the site for anything unlawful.

Your lists stay private to you. When you send a price report or other feedback, you allow us to use it to correct and improve the service, without owing you anything for it.

The Broke Da Cart name, logo, design and software belong to us. Deal information belongs to the stores that published it. You may use the site for your own personal shopping; that doesn't give you any other rights to our material.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don't promise it will always be up, error-free, or that its information is complete or correct, and, to the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Broke Da Cart LLC won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost savings, profits or data, arising from your use of the site, including from a price or deal that turned out to be wrong. Because the service is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you in full.

You can stop using the site or ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if someone breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk, and we may change or retire features. Sections that should survive, like accuracy, liability and governing law, do.

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date above and, for meaningful changes, let you know on the site or by email. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Honolulu, Hawaii, and you agree to their jurisdiction.
